In 2022 I was given the opportunity to mill four trees that were being removed from Ti Rakau park for the Eastern Busway changes.

Little did I know, 3 years later I would have the chance to bring the wood back home to the renovated Te Tuhi Gallery situated just across the road from where the trees had been growing.

Materials : Silky Oak (Grevillea Robusta) from Ti Rakau park, milled, air-dried, and brought back home.

Finish : Osmo top oil

Te Tuhi Gallery reception : silky oak
