The Mitchell dining table was commissioned for a stunning villa renovation featuring a range of NZ native and Australian timbers.

The top is made of Victorian Ash / Tasmanian Oak to match the kitchen cabinetry.

The client supplied the extremely dense and beautiful Black Maire timber used in the corner legs, which is also utilised as vertical slats in the kitchen island bench. Within NZ’s native timbers, Maire is second only to Southern Rata in density.

The top is stabilised with low profile sliding dovetail cross members in order to allow space for legs to be crossed when sitting.
